Allison "Alli" Jimenez, MS, RMHCI

Allison Jimenez is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with over 10 years of experience in the human services and mental health field. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida International University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She will be pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Applied Learning Theories at The University of Miami beginning in May of 2023. 

Allison specializes in trauma counseling and crisis intervention using various treatment modalities based on her client’s individual needs including: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Principles (MBSR), and Solution Focused Behavioral Therapy. 

Much of Allison’s experience is with survivors of sexual/physical/emotional abuse, domestic violence, suicide, and personality disorders. Aside from her role at The Center for Trauma Counseling, Allison leads the Zero Suicide Initiative in Palm Beach County to ensure safer suicide care and practices in mental and behavioral health facilities.
